12/6/15 - First test on pod propulsion and air bearings.

These systems surpassed our expectations.

12/11/15 - Pod free run over non-ideal surface.

Future running configuration will be 23% lighter than the configuration shown here.

Between the lighter pod weight and different airflow characteristics in the enclosed tube,  the pod should be able to accelerate much faster and attain a higher velocity under its own power.

Estimated peak velocity in this video: 7mph. Target goal: 17mph.

A winch launcher will be implemented if the target velocity cannot be attained by pod propulsion alone.
